Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., Sept. 8)- Sophomore midfielder Liam Robley (Lazonby, Cumbria, England/Queen Elizabeth Grammar School) scored a goal in each half to lead the McKendree University men's soccer team to a 2-0 win over Baker University on Sunday.

The Bearcats improved to 2-0 overall and will travel to Louisville, Ky., on Friday, Sept. 13 to kickoff its 2013 Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule against Bellarmine University at 3:55 p.m. ET.

McKendree scored on its only shot of the first half on Robley's goal off a pass from freshman forward B.J. Tucker (St. Louis, Mo./DeSmet) in the 40th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

Robley scored again in the 79th minute on a penalty kick following a foul committed in the box to push the lead to 2-0 where it stayed.

Sophomore goalkeeper Scott Armistead (Auckland, New Zealand/Saint Peter's College) had two saves in the win to improve to 2-0 this season in goal.
