Box Score (RENSSELAER, Ind., Oct. 4)—The McKendree University volleyball team closed out a perfect three-game road swing with a three-set sweep Saturday afternoon at Saint Joseph's College. The Bearcats won by scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 26-24.
Saturday's victory extended the Bearcats' season-high win streak to four matches. The Bearcats push their record to 9-6 overall. McKendree is now 6-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Bearcats will step out of league play on Wednesday to host Missouri Baptist University at the Harry M. Statham Sports Center. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
Freshman outside hitter
Arela Williams (San Diego, CA/LaJolla Country Day) paced the offensive attack for McKendree with a match-high 12 kills. Williams also handled seven digs in the contest. Sophomore middle hitter
Sophie Fairman (Staunton, IL/Staunton) reached double-digits in kills for third straight match with 10. Fairman and freshman middle hitter
Maria Rasch (Kenosha, WI/Westosha Central) each had three blocks to share team-high honors for the Bearcats.

Aubry Dickmann (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) led all players with 19 assists on the afternoon, while senior setter
Abby Hanger (Belleville, IL/Belleville West) handed out 14 sets. Senior outside hitter

Ashly Schmitt (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg) each collected 10 digs in the back row for McKendree.
Since beginning GLVC play in 2012, McKendree has posted a 3-1 record against Saint Joseph's. The Bearcats were able to avenge a five-set loss to the Pumas in the lone meeting between the two programs during the 2013 season, which occurred on Oct. 11 in Lebanon.
