In the first road game of the season, McKendree has an 8-11 mark (.421) in that same span. The Bearcats' last victory in the first road game of a season came back in 2009, a 55-3 triumph at Olivet Nazarene University.

RAISING THE BAAR: Junior defensive end Lucky Baar (Chicago, IL/Morgan Park) set new McKendree program records with 26 1/2 tackles for loss and 18 quarterback sacks in 2014. Baar led all NCAA Division II players in sacks a year ago, and also topped the national statistics chart with 1.64 sacks per game. Baar became the first Bearcat football player to top an NCAA statistical category since the move to Division II in 2013.

WENTLAND TACKLES BEARCATS' SEASON MARK: Junior linebacker A.J. Wentland (Machesney Park, IL/Harlem) established a new McKendree season record with his 132 tackles in 2014. He topped the previous mark of 108 stops set by Brandon Nigro during the 2011 campaign.
