(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 13) – The McKendree University D3 men's hockey team hits the road for a two game series against Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill., at the Canlan Ice Sports Arena. Friday night the teams will play at 7:30 p.m. and then again on Saturday at 5:10 p.m.
 
McKendree has struggled so far this season, opening with an (0-4) record. However, Lewis University has seen similar struggles this season, also starting their season (0-4). The Flyers losses have come against Missouri State and Northern Illinois University, with the Bearcats losses coming against the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and the University of Nebraska.
 
Leading the charge for McKendree, is junior forward Ethan Gremminger (O'Fallon, MO/Fort Zumwalt North) with two goals and one assist for three points. Freshman forward Ryan Harber (Ballwin, MO/Parkway South HS) is second in scoring for the Bearcats notching one goal and one assist for two points in three games.
