(LEBANON, Ill., May 26)--The dates for the 2016 McKendree University Football Camps are quickly approaching, with several camps being held in the coming weeks throughout the bi-state as well as in northern Illinois.

The program will offer one-day position camps over a period of four days in July, and will be held on both sides of the Mississippi River. Players attending the camps will receive instruction in their particular position and will receive individual attention from McKendree Universities coaches, and guest coaches with all levels of experience. After individual instruction is complete, there will be competition amongst the campers in one-on-one drills.

The 2016 McKendree University Football Camp schedule is as follows:
Thursday, July 7 -- 9 a.m. to Noon
Springfield High School -- Springfield, Ill.

Thursday, July 7 -- 6 p.m.to 9 p.m.
Fox High School -- Arnold, Mo.

Friday, July 8 --- 9 a.m. to Noon
Borgia High School -- Washington, Mo.

Friday, July 8 -- 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Belleville West High School -- Belleville, Ill.

Monday, July 11 -- 9 a.m. to Noon
Phillips Academy -- Chicago, Ill.

Monday, July 11 -- 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Jefferson High School -- Rockford, Ill.

Tuesday, July 12 -- 9 a.m. to Noon
Plano High School -- Plano, Ill.

Tuesday, July 12 -- 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Washington High School -- Washington, Ill.

Cost to register for each individual session of the McKendree Football Camp is $20 through July 1 and $30 after July 1. Participants must bring their own helmet, shoulder pads, football cleats, mouthpiece, jersey, t-shirt, shorts and socks.
