(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 30) – The McKendree University men's D3 hockey team faces off against Bradley University for a two game series. The teams hit the ice on Friday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 4:45 p.m. at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex.
 
The Bearcats are 8-2 on the season and sit at No. 11 in the Pacific Division in the most recent American Collegiate Hockey Association rankings. McKendree and Bradley went head-to-head earlier this season, with the Bearcats winning both contests.
 
Freshman forward Derek Northrop and senior defenseman Ethan Gremminger lead the Bearcats with 17 points in 10 games this season. Northrop has netted eight goals and added nine assists, while Gremminger has scored three goals and registered 14 assists. Rounding out the top five scorers on the team are freshman forwards Christian Blandina, Garrett Poole, and Adam Dempski. Junior goaltender Zach Allen has backstopped the Bearcats this season with a record of 7-2 with a goals-against average of 2.68 and a save percentage of 0.899.
