(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 9) - The McKendree University men's soccer coaching staff has announced they will be hosting a fall goalkeeping clinic on November 17 & 18.
The Fall Goalkeeping Clinic is open to all male soccer players rising 9th grade and older with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level. The Fall Goalkeeping Clinic offers a collegiate training environment for goalkeepers to experience the physical, technical and tactical demands of the position in college. The camp will focus on the technical aspects of the position with a competitive environment. There will also be an emphasis on game-like situations to allow the goalkeepers an opportunity to train at a collegiate level. Both days will end with a group discussion about the finished training session, encouraging goalkeepers to understand the tactical side of the position. There will also be time spent with each player, answering any questions about the NCAA recruiting process, along with offering advice on recruiting videos etc.
The Fall Goalkeeping Clinic is ran by McKendree University men's soccer goalkeeping coach, Daniel Brennan. Coach Brennan has an extensive playing and coaching background with experience at the USSDA, NCAA Division 1, NCAA Division 2, and NCAA Division 3. He has worked with and under some of the most respected Goalkeeping coaches in the country.
