SPRING PRACTICE UPDATE WITH COACH MIKE BABCOCK

(LEBANON, Ill., April 12)--The McKendree University football team will hold its 23rd annual Spring Game on Saturday with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. at Leemon Field.

The spring game is the culmination of the spring practice season for the Bearcats. Per NCAA rules, teams are allowed 15 spring practice dates, and McKendree's 15th session will be the spring contest. The game is free and open to the public.

This year's Spring Game will feature an Offense vs. Defense format. The contest will be the last time that the McKendree football program will take the field until the pre-season practice season begins in early August. 

McKendree is tentatively scheduled to begin its 2019 regular season on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Northern Michigan University. An official release of the Bearcats' schedule will be forthcoming.
