Francisco Comas (Naperville, IL/Neuqua Valley), earns his second Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) Defensive Player of the Week honor, based off his performance in the 3-1 set win over No.5 Lewis.

Comas dug 12 attacks during the contest against the Bearcats' highest-ranked opponent this season, knocking off No.5 Lewis 3-1, Friday evening. Comas also recorded three assists in the match, along with 3.00 digs per set without a reception error. Comas and the Bearcats held the Flyers to a .265 team hitting percentage.
This win moved the Bearcats to 7-0 in the MIVA, in soul control of first place.
This is Comas' third time overall receiving the MIVA Defensive Player of the Week honor, the second time this 2021 season.
The Bearcats will be back on the court with No.5 Lewis on Friday, Mar. 12 at 7:00 PM in the Harry M. Statham Sports Center.
