The McKendree University men's and women's track & field team will start its 2021 outdoor season at the Bearcat Classic in Lebanon, Ill. this Friday at Leemon Field.
 
The meet begins at 10 a.m. with the women's high jump. 
 
The teams who are participating in Friday's meet are College of DuPage, Davenport, Fontbonne, Harris-Stowe, Greenville, Illinois College, Lewis, Lincoln University, Maryville, Missouri Baptist, Principia College, St. Charles Community College, the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Webster.
 
Due to the number of student-athletes competing in Friday's meet, and COVID-19 protocols, the meet will not be open to the public.
 
While the meet is not open to the public, the track & field team are still looking for volunteers to help out. If you, or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering at the Bearcat Classic, please contact thomas.whittaker18@mckendree.edu.
