LEBANON, Ill. – Lewis University has announced that its Great Lakes Valley Conference women's basketball game scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15 with at Neil Carey Arena in Romeoville, Ill., has been canceled due to health and safety protocols within the Flyers women's basketball program.
 
The game will be considered a no-contest by the NCAA. According to GLVC policy, the game will not be made up at this present time and will be considered a "no contest" for league standing purposes per the GLVC Resocialization of Competition document.
 
With the cancellation of Saturday's game at Lewis, the Bearcats, who hosted the University of Indianapolis on Thursday and have now had four games canceled this season, are scheduled to return to action on Monday, Jan. 17 as they travel to Evansville, Ind., for a 5:30 p.m. game at the University of Southern Indiana.
