LEBANON, Ill. – The McKendree University men's basketball program has announced the opening of registration for its 19th Annual McKendree Men's Basketball Summer Camps that will be held this coming summer in the Melvin Price Convocation Center on the McKendree campus.
 
McKendree will conduct three camps this coming summer with two sessions in on each camp date. The dates for this summer's camps are June 27-July 1, July 11-15 and July 25-29.
 
The camps are open to all boys entering fourth through ninth grade and all the campers attending the camp will receive a camp t-shirt and individual instruction from member of the McKendree Men's Basketball Program. In addition, certificates and basketballs will be awarded for excellent character, attitude and performance at the camp.
 
Each session of the camps are $110 per session and campers can get a $5 off discount when registering by June 1 and will receive $20 off when registering for same week of competitive edge and skills camp in the same transaction.
 
All three camp session dates will feature a Youth Skills Camp in the morning (9 a.m.-12 p.m.) each and a Competitive Edge Camp in the afternoon (1-4 p.m.).
 
The Youth Skills Camp will feature skill development, ball handling drills, shooting techniques, passing techniques, defense, teamwork development, daily contests and 5-on-5 games, while the Competitive Edge Camp will feature competition strategy, individual and team competitions, 1-on-1 competition and daily contests.
