COLUMBUS, Ohio – The men's basketball team wrapped up its opening crossover weekend against the Ohio Dominican University Panthers (0-2). Behind Carson Parker's double-double and three others in double figures, the Bearcats defeated the Panthers 78-71.
After posting a career-high 33 points the night before, Milos Vicentic followed it up with 24 points against ODU on 10 of 18 shooting. He also added six rebounds. Caleb Zurliene added 16 points on 5 of 8 from the field, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc. Parker was 6 of 12 shooting for his 12 points, led the team with 10 rebounds for his second career double-double. Coming off the bench, Kevin Stein chipped in 12 points.
As a team, the Bearcats shot 29 of 56 for 51.8% from the field. The dominated the Panthers on the points in the paint battle at 40-22.
McKendree opens their home portion of the schedule on Saturday, November 18th against Blackburn College with tip scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
