LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University women's volleyball will play its final two regular season games this coming weekend, Nov. 10-11. On Friday, McKendree faces Southwest Baptist at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday contest at Drury starting at 3 p.m.  

McKendree heads into the weekend with momentum after a big five-set win over No.20 Quincy and a three-set sweep against Illinois-Springfield, improving their overall record to 13-12. In GLVC standings, McKendree advanced to the top spot in digs, averaging 18.82 digs per set and passing Maryville in the rankings. Individually, sophomore outside hitter Destiny Gray moved into the top 10 in the GLVC for kills, averaging 3.37 per set in ninth place.  

Southwest Baptist enters Friday's match just behind McKendree in the GLVC with a 14-13 overall record and a 3-8 record in conference play. McKendree leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 3-1 and secured a 3-2 win over SBU last season. Southwest Baptist ranks fourth in two statistical categories in the GLVC, claiming 2.02 blocks per set and 1.77 service aces per set. Sophomore outside hitter Ella Rademaker is seventh in the conference for kills at 3.49 kills per set while freshman middle blocker Rory Stanley sits in fourth for blocking with 1.08 blocks per set.  

The 6-20 Panthers will face No.2 Missouri-St. Louis on Friday night prior to their match with McKendree on Saturday. Drury, along with McKendree and Southwest Baptist, sports a 3-8 conference record. In GLVC standings, Drury sits fifth in digs (16.73 per set) and eighth for blocks (1.91 per set). Heading the blocks for the Panthers is freshman middle blocker Sanoma Hunter who averages 0.97 blocks per set which places her sixth in the GLVC. Junior defensive specialist Lexi Basler is in the top five for digs per set, averaging 4.58 per set.
