SAINT LOUIS, MO- On March 18 Mckendree Men's Rugby traveled to Saint Louis to compete in the Big Rivers Conference Tournament. 

The team had a strong showing bringing home wins over Adrian College and Iowa Central and 2 tight losses at the hands of Thomas Moore and Marian. 

"There were several exceptional programs here this past weekend and we definitely had a tough draw with 3 games being back-to-back, but our players showed incredible heart and determination to grind out a couple of tough wins against some great teams. I am very proud of the direction that our program is heading and how our players continue to improve with every training session and every match, they are starting to become a very well-rounded squad and are showing that we can be competitive with some of the best programs in the region," said Head Coach Cam Wyper. 

The Bearcats will return to play on April 8th at Lindenwood University.
