Anna Stiffler blasted a trio of goals in two weekend victories, firing both game-winners in the process, to earn GLVC weekly honors, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. The Bearcats were led by Stiffler to wins over Winona Stat, 2-1, and Concordia-St. Paul, 3-0, during two neutral site contests in Fayette, Iowa.
With her weekend performance, Stiffler sits atop the league in points (6), goals (3), and game-winners (2) while grabbing the 4th weekly honor of her career. The reigning GLVC Offensive Player of the Year picked up right where she left off with both goals against the Warriors while firing the first score over the Bears in the Sunday matchup. Overall, she fired five of nine shots on-frame for an on-goal shot percentage of 0.556.
The Bearcats started back-to-back seasons with 2-0 weekends in Iowa after playing a pair of games in Fayette in 2022, beating CSP and Upper Iowa.
