O'Fallon, Ill. - McKendree University women's swimming and diving posted two major wins over Division I Lindenwood University and fellow-GLVC member Rockhurst University on Friday afternoon at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. The Bearcats secured 11 victories on the day.  

Senior Andrea Menard Cordoba won both diving events for McKendree while fellow senior Alexis Kachkin took first in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Five more Bearcats touched first in an event including sophomore Jocelyn Zgola in the 200 freestyle, Ana Cecilia Carvalho in the 200 butterfly, sophomore Rylee Sitton in the 200 breaststroke, freshman Helena Kurtz in the 100 butterfly, and freshman Logan Wilson in the 200 individual medley. All relays were won by McKendree teams.  

The Bearcats are back in action on Jan. 13 as they host WashU in a dual meet at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. Diving starts at 9 a.m. followed by swimming at 12 p.m.
