EVANSVILLE, Ind. – McKendree Women's Swim and Dive saw Helena Kurtz break her own record in the 100-yard butterfly on the third day of NCAA Division II Nationals at the Deaconess Aquatic Center Thursday night. 

Individually, in the first final was Helena Kurtz where she broke her own school record of 54.94 in the 100-yard butterfly with a new school record of 54.83. This effort earned her 11th place in the country in the event.  

In the 200-yard freestyle, it was Luiza Dias and Joceyln Zgola. Dias found herself at 19th place with a time of 1:50.95. Zgola finished in 29th with a 1:52.30. 

Finishing out the day with the 400-yard medley relay was Dias, Kurtz, Beatriz Souza and Zgola. They earned a spot at 15th place with a combined time of 3:46.37.  

They will be heading back to the Deaconess Aquatic Center for the fourth day of competition. The events on Friday include the 500-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, and 200-yard butterfly.
