EVANSVILLE, Ind. – McKendree Women's Swim and Dive only had three total events on the fourth day of NCAA Division II Nationals at the Deaconess Aquatic Center Friday night.
There were only two individuals that had events in the fourth day of competition. Beatriz Souza made her NCAA debut in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in 24th with a final time of 1:03.15.
Luiza Dias had a 5:07.38 performance in the 500-yard freestyle which earned a spot at 33rd place.
Finishing out the day with the 200-yard freestyle relay was Helena Kurtz, Souza, Dias and Jocelyn Zgola. They earned a spot at 14th place with a combined time of 1:35.16.
They will be heading back to the Deaconess Aquatic Center for the fifth and final day of competition. The final events on Saturday include the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke, and then the 1650-yard freestyle.
