LEBANON, Ill. | Leemon Field - McKendree University women's soccer (9-3-1, 5-3-1 GLVC) dropped a tough Sunday afternoon battle to Missouri-St. Louis, 3-0, to go 0-1-1 overall on the weekend. The Bearcats host a third-straight game at home next weekend with Illinois Springfield coming to Leemon Field on October 18 for a 5:00PM kick off.
McKendree fell behind in the fifth minute of the game with the Tritons rebounding a shot to take the lead. After the first half, UMSL led 3-0. McKendree battled in the second half with five on-frame shots and 10 overall but was unable to make its comeback.
