Women's Volleyball to Host Drury, SBU for Final Home Games

LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University women's volleyball will host two more Great Lakes Valley Conference games for the 2024 season this coming weekend. The Bearcats face Drury University on Friday at 6 p.m. and Southwest Baptist University at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Saturday's game will be Senior Day for the McKendree Volleyball Program.

McKendree is currently 9-15 overall and is 4-7 in conference play. Senior setter Amber Williams is No. 6 in the GLVC for assists with 9.33 per set. Graduate student right side Colleen Preusser is No. 8 in service aces in the conference with 0.38 per set. Junior outside hitter Destiny Gray is leading with 4.13 points per set.

The Panthers sport a 14-11 overall record and a 4-7 conference record. Last year the Bearcats topped Drury in four sets. The Panthers are led by outside hitter Mailie Chretien and middle blocker Kayli Duncan with 2.60 kills per set.

The SBU Bearcats hold a 14-14 overall record and a 4-7 GLVC record. The last matchup between the Bearcats occurred last season where McKendree topped SBU in five sets. The Bearcats are led by outside hitter Ella Rademaker with 3.85 kills per set.
