LEBANON, Ill. | Leemon Field - McKendree University women's soccer (13-3-1, 9-3-1 GLVC) collected a fourth-straight win on Friday night, shutting out the Quincy Hawks on a 4-0 final score. The Bearcats added a seventh shutout on the season with senior forward Anna Stiffler scoring two goals while sophomore midfielder Maggie Gleckler and sophomore forward Aubrey Andrews each found the back of the net once. McKendree finishes the regular season on Sunday, November 3 at Leemon Field with a Senior Day battle against Upper Iowa at 12:00PM. 

McKendree quickly moved into the lead on Friday evening with Stiffler fired her 13th goal and eighth game-winner in the 13th minute of action. The Bearcats moved down field quickly, earning a throw-in, taken by senior defender Maria Voss, with the ball being flicked onto frame by senior forward Lena Higgins and then fired into goal by Stiffler. McKendree added to its 1-0 advantage in the 33rd minute as the sophomore Gleckler got a quick pass from Stiffler, which she blasted into the back of the net. The Bearcats led 2-0 at the halftime intermission.

The second half saw McKendree fire a third goal in the 50th minute to own a 3-0 lead over the Hawks as Andrews scored her third goal of the campaign. The Bearcats then added their fourth and final goal of the game as Stiffler scored her second of the game, blasting it past the Quincy goalkeeper. Junior goalkeeper Maicy Mueller collected the shutout with two saves in the victory.
