Women's Wrestling Brings Home Three MoVal Titles, Places Six Overall

MARSHALL, Mo. - No.5 McKendree University women's wrestling (8-2) battled at the prestigious Missouri Valley Open on Friday and Saturday, bringing home six placements and three class champions with 124 sophomore Shelby Moore, 131 Alex Szkotnicki, and 160 Destiny Rodriguez (unattached). The Bearcats tallied not just three title belts at the event but also added a third place finish by 103 freshman Gabriele Tedesco and a seventh place finish for both 110 senior Samantha Miller and 138 senior Viktorya Torres. McKendree is back in action in December with the North Central Duals on December 15 in Naperville, Illinois.
