No.5 Women's Wrestling Places Nine at North Central Open

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - No.5 McKendree University women's wrestling finished off the semester with an open tournament, battling up near Chicago at the North Central Open on Sunday and finishing with nine placers in the event. The Bearcats tallied two bracket victories with Morgan Cope winning the 124B and Ruby Rios taking home the title in the 160B while capturing six top-three finishes overall. McKendree gets a quick break for the holidays before jumping right back in to action on January 10-11 at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the UNI Dome.
