LEBANON, Ill. – Hosting the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds on Senior Day, the Bearcats were looking to end the regular season on a high-note. The Greyhounds came away with the win by the score of 91-69. McKendree finishes the regular season with an overall record of 15-12 (9-11 GLVC)
Before the game, the program honored student manager Amir Nikpouri along with Aleksandar Davitkov, Kyle Elmore, Carson Parker and Daulton Burgner as a part of the senior day festivities.
Parker led the Bearcats in scoring with 17 points on 8-of-10 from the field. The senior also collected seven rebounds. Joey Niesman and Milos Vicentic were also in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
As a team, they shot 26-of-59 from the field for 44.1%, 6-of-19 from beyond the arc and 11-of-19 from the free throw line.
They will begin postseason play on Thursday, March 7th at 6:00 p.m. as they battle the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds in the GLVC tournament quarterfinals on the campus of Lindenwood University.
