JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - McKendree University track and field competed at the Lincoln University open. 

On the women's side, the high jump and triple jump both saw victories for McKendree. Freshman Adonya Taylor took first in the triple jump with a mark of 10.19m, and freshman Bailey Williams won the long jump with a leap of 5.18m.  

For the men, freshman Kewarny Fletcher took first place in the 800m with a time of 1:54.06. Sophomore Blake Westrater took second in the 5000m with a time 16:11.79 a new personal best. 

The Bearcats are back on the track next weekend at Greenville University.
