LEBANON, Ill. – McKendree University Director of Athletics Anthony Francis is pleased to announce the hiring of Tracy Cromer as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.
"I am very excited to join the Bearcat staff! I want to thank President Daniel Dobbins and Athletic Director Anthony Francis for this opportunity," said Cromer. "I am looking forward to working alongside and supporting the coaching staff and student-athletes as they strive to compete at the highest level."
Cromer comes to Lebanon with ten years of athletic administration and 20-plus years of collegiate coaching experience. For the past two years, she has been the Compliance Coordinator at Division III, Lawrence University (Wis.) where she managed the eligibility and compliance for 22 varsity teams. She held the role of Interim Senior Woman Administration for 11 months and was the Athletics Department liaison to the Registrar's Office for 4-plus years.

"She leads with the understanding that we are here to support student-athletes and programs. This department will immediately see the benefits of Tracy being on staff."
Prior to her stint with Lawrence, she served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Lancaster Bible College from June 2016 to May 2018. Along with being in charge of compliance, she was the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Advisor.
No stranger to Southwestern Illinois, Cromer spent a few years at Greenville University, a Division III member in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. She was on the SLIAC Administrative Council and the SAAC Advisor.
She obtained her Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Coaching from Texas Women's University. Cromer completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Youth Ministries and Psychology at Bethel University (Minn.).
