NEW CASTLE, Del. - The McKendree University women's bowling team kicked off the 2025 season, placing 18th out of 38 teams in the Northeast Classic.
The Bearcats finished 18th overall going 4-6 on the weekend knocking down 9,613 pins. In baker matches, McKendree knocked down 4,859 pins; in traditional matches, the Bearcats knocked down 4,754 pins, averaging 192.3 pins a game.
On Sunday, McKendree qualified for the championship bracket but fell to Niagara University and Delaware State who placed 14th and 16th.Â
The Bearcats are back in action on the lanes from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, competing in the Columbia 300 Saints Invite in Shrewsbury, Mo.
