HANNIBAL, Mo. – The McKendree Women's Cross Country team finished second at the Trojan Invitational in Hannibal, Missouri at the HLGU XC Course on Saturday.

The Bearcats showed up at the Trojan Invitational with all five runners finishing in the top 20. Sophia Paschal and Cynthia Snyder came in third and fifth place, finishing with times of 20:43.5 and 21:45.6, respectively.  

Oaklie Layton and Daniela Lozano finished right next to each other, coming in at 15th and 16th with times of 23:13.3 and 23.21.8, respectively. Finishing out the day was Mariah Creamer stopping the time and 24:44.2 to finish 19th out of the 38 competitors.  

Next Up  

The McKendree Women's Cross-Country team will be looking ahead to the Greenville Classic in Greenville, Illinois on Oct. 17th.
