GREENVILLE, Ill. – The McKendree Women's Cross-Country team tied for second in the Greenville Classic in Greenville, Illinois at the Hillsboro Country Club course on Friday.
The Bearcats fought through a tough race to tie for second at the meet. The team was led by Sophia Paschal, who finished in 19:59.04.
She was followed by Cynthia Snyder in 14th making it two athletes in the top 15 at this meet. Snyder finished with a time of 20:37.20. Followed by Chloe Gough, Daniela Lozano, Oaklie Layton, and Audrey Cummins who finished 22nd,26th, 35th, and 38th with times of 21:38.14, 21:54.46, 22:39.68, and 22:45.79, respectively.
Overall, a very good day for the Bearcats who finished with a total score of 92 points, tying for second place.
