GREENVILLE, Ill.– The McKendree Women's Cross-Country team placed fifth in its opening meet of the 2025 season on Saturday morning at the SIUE Cross-Country course.
The women's cross-country team finished fifth at the Gabby Reuveni Invitational hosted by Washington University of St. Louis.
The Bearcats were led by Sophia Paschal who finished 38th with a time of 20:52.7. Grouped behind her was Chloe Gough, Oaklie Layton and Audrey Cummins finishing 45th, 50th and 55th with times of 22:25.0, 23:20.3 and 23:53.9, respectively. Rounding out the day was Mariah Creamer finishing 63rd with a time of 27:22.2.
Next the Bearcats will compete at the Bradley Invitational in Peoria, Ill on September 19th.
