PEORIA, Ill. – The McKendree Women's cross-country competed at the Bradley intercollegiate meet on Friday September 19th at Detweiller Park. The team finished with a score of 507 which earned them 18th place at the meet.
Leading the way for the Bearcats was Sophia Paschal who stopped the clock just under 20 minutes with 19:53.00, this time earned her 82nd. Shortly behind her is Chloe Gough, earning 112th place with 20:47.90 on the clock. Closing out the day for McKendree was Oaklie Layton, Audery Cummins and Mariah Creamer with times of 22:07.60, 22:41.50 and 23:44.20, finishing 140th, 150th and 164th respectively.
The team finished only 17 points behind Illinois College (490) and 1point in front of Parkland (508).

The McKendree cross-country team will be traveling to Columbia, Missouri to compete in the Gans Creek classic, hosted by the University of Missouri.
