LEBANON, Ill. – The bass fishing program and Head Coach Jon Rinderer are excited to announce that Brandon Wessel will be joining the McKendree Bass Fishing team this fall. 

Brandon is the son of Rob and Ana Montoya-Wessel and resides in O'Fallon, Illinois. He attends Althoff Catholic High School and currently works for Cope Marine. He is an avid outdoorsman who has spent many hours hunting and fishing.  

Wessel is a member of the Bellville South Bassmaster's club and recently placed 4th on Otter Lake. He spends most of his fishing time on Kentucky Lake, Kinkaid Lake, Lake of Egypt, and the Lake of the Ozarks where he finished 39th in the AFTCO Bass Blitz.  

"His passion for the sport of bass fishing and his love of the outdoors make him a great addition to our program," said Rinderer.
