LEBANON, Ill. – The bass fishing program and Head Coach Jon Rinderer have announced that KJ Jamison has signed with the McKendree Bass Fishing team.
Jamison lives with his family in Edwardsville, Illinois. He is currently a senior at Edwardsville High School and competes on both the fishing and wrestling teams. The signee loves fishing and has been active in the IHSA, ICASSTT, and Bass Nation trails.
In the ICASSTT series, he has five 1st place finishes. Three of them were on Lake of Egypt, one was on East Fork, and one was on Forbes. He won the Illinois Bass Nation tournament on Clinton Lake, placed 3rd on Sangchris Lake, and was a 2024 Bassmaster National qualifier on Lake Chickamauga. He also placed 3rd in this year's IHSA regional.
Jamison plans to major in Business Administration with the goal of owning his own successful business in the future.
"His work ethic, determination, and positive attitude will make him a great addition to both our school and team," said Rinderer. "We look forward to welcoming him to campus this fall."
