LEBANON, Ill. – McKendree's women's volleyball team is set to wrap up regular season road trips with the University of Missouri-St. Louis Tritons.
McKendree will enter the match 5-19 overall, 3-7 in conference currently holding the 12th spot in conference rankings. The Bearcats are coming off a tough road weekend where McKendree went 0-2, looking to discontinue their four-match losing streak. Senior outside hitter Destiny Gray is the offensive leader for the Bearcats, notching 254 kills on the season so far. Freshman setter Peyton Uptgraft conducts the offense, currently with 626 assists. The defensive efforts are led by senior libero Ashlyn Berczynski who has picked up 427 digs at this point into the season.
The Tritons are 20-4 overall, 10-0 in conference sitting 1st in the conference rankings. Missouri-St. Louis is currently riding a 13-match win streak. Sophomore opposite Alayna Santel leads the team's offense with 351 kills while senior setter Caitlin Bishop has 1049 assists orchestrating the Tritons offense. On the defensive side, junior libero Skylar Weaver guides the team with 485 digs.
The Bearcats will face the Tritons on 11/7 with a match at 6:00 pm to conclude away matches for the regular season.
