BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – McKendree women's indoor track and field resumes the season at the University of Indiana's Early Bird Meet.
Sophomore Mikayla Sutherland placed fourth in the 400 with a time of 57.25.
The one mile saw two Bearcats finish in the top ten. Senior Sophia Paschal placed ninth with a time of 5:48.61 and sophomore Oaklie Layton placed behind in tenth with a time of 6:39.58.
Freshman Audrey Cummins place fifth in the 3000m with a time of 12:57.47.
Freshman Kamoy Cole placed third in the 60 hurdles with a qualifying time of 8.62.
The high jump saw two Bearcats finish in the top ten. Freshman Shinelle Jhagroo-Bryan placed third with a 5.46m (17'11") marking, and junior Paula Niubo placed tenth with a marking of 4.81m (15'9.5").
The Bearcats will return to action after the holiday break. They will compete at Eastern Illinois University on Jan. 17th.
