TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Mckendree University men's track and field traveled to Indiana State University for the 2025 Blue and White classic.
In the 60m hurdles freshman Kaleb Tucker placed fifth with a time of 8.58.
Freshman Muthanna Yogendra got the day started with a personal best and first place finish in the 200m with a time of 6.92.
The 400m saw freshman Jevor Murray finishing fourth in a time of 51.45 while junior George Safo finishing ninth in 55.97.
In the 800m freshmen Diego Paz Denis and Austin Corey both ran personal bests. Paz Denis finshed fourth overall in 1:56:81 and Corey finished 2:00:05. Paz Denis' flat track conversion of 1:55.17 currently has his him in eighth place in the GLVC standings.
Junior Blake Westrater brought a booming performance in the 3000m, running a personal best by 13 seconds and finished 11th overall with a time of 9:11:08.
Freshman Kierson Wicks won the high jump and set a new meet record with a jump of 2.05m (6.08.75).
Freshman Keagan Greff placed ninth overall with a mark jumping of 1.85m (6-00.75), a new career best.
In the shot put senior Matthew Wilson placed 11th with a throw of 12.45m (40-10.25) and freshmen Matthew Pedersen placing 14th with his throw of 12.34.m (40-06.00). Wilson also placed 9th with a throw of 13.50m (44-03.50),
Sophomore Jordan Tucker placed 3rd in the triple jump with a final jump of 13.29m (43-07.25).
This wraps up the regular season for the Bearcats and now look to the GLVC conference championship on Feb.28 and March 1st.
