TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Mckendree University women's track and field traveled to Indiana State University for the 2025 Blue and White classic.
The 200m saw freshman Helena Rhode place sixteenth with a time of 28.03, and freshman Kennise Major in 29.39.
Freshman Mickayla Sutherland ran a personal best in the 400m with a time of 59.20, giving her third place on the day. Sophomore Divine Favor Ozomma take 10th in 1:01.07.
Sophomore Chloe Gough took 11th place in the 800m with a time of 2:34.56.
The mile race saw sophomore Lydia Trump run a 5:58.87, taking 10th place.
The 4x400m relay capped off the track events with a bang taking home first place in 4:01.27. Sophomores Adoyna Taylor, Sara Belloso, Iyanna Dear, and Sutherland were the quadrant to bring home first.
Sophomore Paula Niubo tied a career best in the high jump with a leap of 1.45m (4'9ft).
Freshman Shinelle Jhagroo-Bryan placed fourth in the long jump with a bound of 5.27m (17' 3.5").
Taylor's leap of 10.50m was good enough for second place.
This wraps up the regular season for the Bearcats and now look to the GLVC conference championship on Feb.28 and March 1st.
