Men's Bowling Punches Their Ticket to Intercollegiate Team Championships; Blagojevic Advances to Intercollegiate Singles Championship

FORT WORTH, Texas - The McKendree men's bowling team competed in the USBC Sectionals this past weekend, placing third overall and advancing to the Intercollegiate Team Championships.

The top four teams advance to the ITC Championships hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada. After day one, the Bearcats were sitting in fourth place with a total of 6,436 pins. On day two, McKendree advanced to third place, knocking down a two-day total of 13,050 pins.

In individual standings, graduate student Nicholas Blagojevic placed sixth overall, knocking down 1,385 pins and advancing to the Intercollegiate Singles Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Bearcats hit the lanes for the ITC Championship on April 14-20.
