RICHMOND, Ky. – The men's golf team was back in action on March 24th and 25th at the Findlay Spring Invitational in Richmond, Kentucky. The 18-team field had 16 other Midwest regional teams competing. Fellow GLVC member, Missouri S&T won the 54-hole events with a 20-under 844 (288-286-270).
The Bearcats finished in 10th place with a 13-over 877 (295-295-297).
Leading the way for McKendree was Trystan Du Plessis (72-74-69) and Thomas Tollefsen (73-72-70) who each finished the competition at 1-under 215 to tie for 15th in the 100-golfer field. Griffin St. Pierre finished in a tie for 43rd with a 5-over 221 (76-74-71). Hata Iemkanitchat rounded out his tournament in a tie for 64th with a 10-over 226 (74-75-77). Pe Nontarux rounded out the Bearcat team portion of the event with a tie for 98th finish by shooting a 24-over 240 (81-81-78).
Jack LeMatty competed as an individual finishing in a tie for 85th with a 18-over 234 (79-75-80).
McKendree wraps up their regular season at the Ken Partridge Invitational hosted by the University of Indianapolis, April 6th through the 8th in Noblesville, Ind at the Purgatory Golf Club.
