DECATUR, Ill. - McKendree University men's track and field closed out their 2025 regular season at the Friday Night Invite hosted by Millikin University.
Freshman Muthanna Yogendra and junior Dorian Foster got the day started in the 100m with times of 10.99 and 11.09 placing seventh and eighth respectively.
The 200m saw sophomore Matthew Chandler place fourth with a time of 22.39, and Foster followed in sixth a time of 22.72. Chandler also placed first in the 400m in 49.19 with junior Roemello Byndloss placing second in 49.22.

Freshman Diego Paz Denis placed second in the 800m with a time of 1:57.17, followed by Brenton Good running a new personal best of 2:09:04.
Junior Blake Westrater threw down a personal best in the 1500m, running 4:13.16 and placing 12th.
Graduate student Michael Hayeck closed out the running for the night placing ninth in the 5000m with a season best of 16:31.26.
Over on the field junior Austin Dunn place fourth with a leap of 13.24m followed by sophomore Jordan Tucker in fifth with a mark of 6.18m. In the triple jump they had leaps of 13.24 and 12.70 respectively, a personal best for Dunn.
The shotput saw senior Matthew Wilson throw marks of 13.73, 33.29m and 44.53 in the shotput, discus, and hammer throw, a personal best in the hammer. Nicholas Pederson saw marks of 11.90m and 38.61m in the shot and discus, a personal record in the discus.
Freshman Caden Raftery threw a personal best in the javelin, launching a mark of 36.52.
This concludes the regular season for the Bearcats, and now look to the GLVC Championship that begins next Thursday, May 1st.
