MARION, Ill. - The McKendree University bass fishing team had their first qualifier of the season Saturday, August 24th on Lake Egypt.

Senior Ethan Fields led the way with 27.73 pounds. Graduate student Evan Sutton came in second with 22.90 pounds. Third place went to senior Kai Barnett with 18.40 points. Graduate Student Maxwell Trotter reeled in big bass with a 6.20-pound fish.
