JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The team traveled to Jacksonville on Monday, September 1st for an incredible day of fishing. They weighed in 119 bass for 360.28 pounds with an average weight of 3.028 pounds. They caught thirty-four 3+ pound bass, thirteen 4+ pound, and six bass over five pounds.
Graduate student Maxwell Trotter had big bass for the day with a 5.95 pounder and had the record setting winning weight of 33.78 pounds. Senior Ethan Fields placed second with 26.44 pounds. Senior Connor Hall weighed in 24.74 pounds for third. Graduate student Jaxson Freeman took fourth with 22.71 pounds. Sophomore Chase Logue rounded out the top five with 21.62 pounds.
