MARION, Ill. – McKendree University Bass fishing had their second qualifier of the season at Crab Orchard Lake on Saturday August 30^th. 
 
"The lake was stingy, but Ethan Fields had another outstanding performance today. A huge thank you to Amber and Damon Hendrix for bringing pizza, drinks and desserts for the guys after the tournament. It was a wonderful surprise." Said head coach Jon Rinderer.
 
Senior Ethan Fields bagged 24.74 pounds to take first place, for the second qualifier in a row. Coming in second, junior Angelo Malek weighing in with 14.70 pounds. Senior Kai Barnett nets third with 11.83 pounds. Fourth place goes to senior Henry Fledderman with 9.86 pounds. Rounding out the top five was graduate student Jack Stephens with 9.57 pounds.
