TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – McKendree's men's indoor track and field team competed at the ISU Open in the Bearcats last regular season meet of the indoor season.
The 200m saw freshman
Cincere Ruffin finish fourth with a time of 22.59.
In the 800m, sophomore Diego Paz-Denis placed fourth with a time of 1:55.65.
Squad A for the Bearcats earned a first place finish in the 4x400 relay. Freshman
Amari Officer, sophomore
Jevor Murray, junior
Keveroy Venson, and Paz-Denis complied Squad A.
The high jump saw two Bearcats in the top 10. Freshman
Isaiah Ford placed fourth with a mark of 1.93m, followed by freshmen
Ruel Martin with an eighth place finish with a mark of 1.78m.
Three Bearcats finished in the top 10 in the long jump. Officer placed fourth with a mark of 6.58m, senior
Austin Dunn placed seventh with a mark of 6.31m, and junior
Jordan Tucker placed ninth with a mark of 5.95m.
Dunn also finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.77m.
Freshman Cleon Sewell placed fourth in shot put with a mark of 15.33m, followed by an eighth place finish from senior Mattew Wilson with a mark of 14.40m.
UP NEXT: McKendree will compete at the GLVC championship on Feb. 28-Mar. 1 in Indianapolis, Ind at the UIndy Arc. The championship will start at 2:30 PM CT on Feb. 28 and will conclude on Mar. 1 at 10 AM CT.
