TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – McKendree's women's indoor track and field team competed in the ISU Open for the Bearcats last meet of the regular season, before heading to the GLVC championships.
Sophomore
Shinelle Jhagroo-Bryan and freshman
Kamoy Cole both finished in the top eight of the 60m. Jhagroo-Bryan placed fourth with a time of 7.75m, and Cole placed sixth with a time of 7.89m.
The 400m saw four Bearcats finsih in the top 10. Freshman
Alaina Spence place fourth with a time of 58.60, junior
Adonya Taylor placed fifth with a time of 59.27, junior
Divine Favour Ozomma placed ninth with a time of 1:00.92, and junior
Iyanna Dear placed tenth with a time of 1:01.06.
In the 800m, senior Chole Gough place eighth with a time of 2:26.86, followed by freshman
Mariah Creamer with a time of 2:28.49 and a ninth place finish.
Cole earned a fifth place finish in the 60 Hurdles with a time of 8.84.
In the 4x400, Squad A (Taylor, Dear, Creamer, Ozomma) place second with a time of 4:04.04.
Jhagroo-Bryan placed third in long jump with a mark of 5.49m.
Sophomore
Tenisa Ferrell placed eighth in shot put with a mark of 9.93m.
UP NEXT: The Bearcats will compete at the GLVC championship in Indianapolis, Ind. on Feb. 28-Mar. 1 at the UIndy Arc. The championship will start at 2:30 PM CT on Feb. 28 and conclude on Mar. 1 at 10 AM CT.
