INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – McKendree's women's track and field team competed in the Indoor GLVC Championship, earning four podium appearances.
In the 60m, sophomore
Shinelle Jhagroo-Bryan finished fifth with the time of 7.72.
Sophomore Mickayla Sutherland earned bronze in the 400m, finishing third with a time of 56.07.
Freshman
Kamoy Cole earned silver in the 60 hurdles, finishing second with a time of 8.64.
In the 4x400 relay, the squad composed of Sutherland, junior
Adonya Taylor, senior
Divine Favour Ozomma, and freshman
Alaina Spence earned bronze, finishing third with the time of 3:54.73.
Jhagroo-Bryan earned silver in the long jump, finishing second a mark of 5.94.
Taylor was one of 14 women's track and field athletes to receive the GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award Honor.
