(EVANSVILLE, Ind., Oct. 18)—The McKendree University volleyball team dropped a three-set match Tuesday against future Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) foe University of Southern Indiana. The host Screaming Eagles took the best-of-five contest by scores of 25-10, 25-21 and 25-12.

Kaitlyn Kollmann (Collinsville, IL/Metro East Lutheran) (Collinsville, Ill./Metro East Lutheran) led a balanced attack for McKendree with nine kills, while freshman outside hitter
Erica Johnson (New Baden, IL/Wesclin) (New Baden, Ill./Wesclin) was right behind with eight attacks. Johnson also added a team-best 10 digs for the Bearcats. Senior outside hitter
Nadia Moore (Cahokia, Ill./Cahokia) (Cahokia, Ill./Cahokia) chipped in with six kills

Melissa Bayer (Collinsville, IL/Triad) (Collinsville, Ill./Triad) dished out 13 assists to pace McKendree, while freshman setter
Maggie Mueller (St. Peters, MO/Francis Howell Central) (St. Peters, Mo./Francis Howell Central) was credited with 11 assists.
The Bearcats, who are now 7-20 on the season, will have a 10-day break before hosting the McKendree Invitational Oct. 28-29 at the Melvin Price Convocation Center.
