Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 19)- The McKendree University women's soccer team lost to University of Southern Indiana on Friday night 3-0.

The Bearcats fall to 7-5-2 overall and 6-5-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. McKendree will travel to Owensboro, Ky., on Sunday, October 21 to face Kentucky Wesleyan College at 2:30 p.m.

Bellarmine took control early with a goal in the 15th minute by Madi Vellky on an assist by Rachael Mayse. The Screaming Eagles struck again with six seconds remaining in the half on a goal by Susan Ellsperman to head into the break with a 2-0 lead.

Paige Nuelle scored the third and final goal of the match in the 60th minute on an assist from Vellky to jump out to a 3-0 lead.

Southern Indiana outshot McKendree 22-9 in the contest.

Junior goalkeeper Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) fell to 7-5-2 overall with the loss and grabbed four saves.
