INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | Great Lakes Valley Conference - Senior forward Aubrey Andrews helped No.24 McKendree University women's soccer to a pair of conference victories over the past week with three goals, an assist, plus a game-winner to earn another Offensive Player of the Week honor from the GLVC, as announced by the league office on Monday. Andrews and the Bearcats clubbed UIndy, 6-0, and Truman State, 4-1, to sit atop league standings at 10-1 overall and 6-1-0 in conference play. McKendree remains at home for its next contest on Wednesday, September 30, facing off against Lewis at 5:00PM at Leemon Field. The Bearcats then have their bye week date (October 3) before hitting the road on October 7 at Missouri S&T.

The Bearcats came away from their latest outings with two strong conference showings and victories behind Andrews helping lead the charge with seven points. The senior forward fired three goals while dishing out one assist, marking her third multi-goal game of the campaign. She fired the first two goals against the Greyhounds enroute to a 6-0 victory, giving her a second game-winning-goal on the year. In the win over Indianapolis, the St. Louis-native put up six shots with four on-frame while tallying the first two of six scores for McKendree, locking up the contest quickly. In the win over Truman State, she put the cherry on top with the fourth and final score while dishing out the help on the third goal of the contest. 

Andrews has now surpassed her goal and point season highs with nine goals and 19 points so far in the fall. The senior sits second in the league in goals (9), game-winners (2), and total points (19). Andrews sits behind fellow Bearcat, junior forward Maddie Mauch, in league statistical rankings in all three categories.
